The Exceptional Eta Tau chapter is commited to being of service to the student body of the University of Southern Mississippi as well as the local Hattiesburg community. We stand firm in our duty to uphold our national sorority mission to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action.
Oseola McCarty Youth Development
During the Fall 2022 semester, the ladies of Eta Tau assisted the Oseola McCarty Youth Development Center with their senior food box initiative. We also assisted them with their Toys for Tots drive making sure everything was safe, organized and ready to go out! (Not Pictured)
This Spring 2023 semester we have helped volunteer in the center's garden getting it ready for the various foods they plant.
Hattiesburg STEAM Academy
Last semester, Fall 2022, Eta Tau went out local schools in the community to read to the children and talk to them about their interests. Pictured here is the Hattiesburg STEAM Academy.
